THE ENIGMA OF ARRIVAL

                This is the name of a book by V.S. Naipaul, in which he describes his experience of coming to
                 England from Trinidad. Enigma means a mysterious situation. Today I'll tell you the enigma   of  my shifting to Mumbai due to my mother's transfer.
                   Till now I've heard about some places in Mumbai in the television and movies. Through them I am familiar with places like Malad , Andheri , Lokhandwala , Colaba , Worli etc.
                    Now that I am actually going to stay in Worli I am quite excited. But then I am very sad to leave my school friends, friends in my society and my Grandparents.
                   I am informed that many of my favourite filmstars stay in Mumbai. For example Vidya Balan stays in Chembur then Amitabh Bachhan stays in Juhu etc.
                   I am excited about my new school and my mother told me that many of my father's collegue's children study there.
                   Even setting up the new house is a very exciting topic for me,both me and my mother are constantly making lists of what to buy and what not to .

                   Marathi is a languge which I have always wanted to learn. But the best things about Maharashtra is their Pav-Bhaji and their Ganesh Chaturthi celebration.Life has suddenly become very hectic for me.

A very happy new year to all of you, sorry I could not write as I was busy. Today I will write about some interesting foodie facts. Sandwich gets its name from ''Earl of Sandwich''. Hot dogs are also known as Frankfurters. Coffee beans were brought to India by Baba Budan from Mecca. He planted them in Baba Budangiri hills in Karnataka. 'Rasolnik'  is a vegetable soup that is found in the streets of Moscow. Baklava is a sweet in Turkey. In Vietnam 'pho' is a noodle soup containing vegetables , fish chicken or meat.The film ''Julie and Julia'' is inspired by the famous cook Julia Child. Charlie Chaplin ate his shoes in the film Goldrush. Atkins Diet restricts the intake of Carbohydrate.Gm Diet takes it name from the employees of ''General Motors''
